NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Jolanda

Personal, focused on what every client needs. With attention to technique and posture.

MY STORY

From school social work to Pilates

In 2002 I took my first Pilates mat classes, aiming to create more calm in my mind. It brought me so much positivity that in 2007 I started the Pilates teacher training myself.

Quite special, because I did not dare to stand in front of groups; the positive atmosphere of the classes helped me through. My full-time job as a school social worker became part-time. In 2019 I felt that I needed to change my approach to work and health. That brought me to the step, in 2021, to continue full-time with Pilates.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Very personal and tailored

My social work background means I tune in closely to the client. What do you need? What do you feel and where do you feel it during an exercise?

I reflect back what I see and check whether you feel it too. Then I give a cue that you carry out, and together we look at whether it feels different. This is how I guide clients towards moving as efficiently as possible.
